Terms and Conditions of Use for NutriTruth Last updated: 2026-10-20 NutriTruth is an informational reference tool about food labels. Read these terms before using it. If you do not agree, do not use the service. 1. Reference information generated by Artificial Intelligence NutriTruth uses third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to interpret photographs of labels and generate summaries, scores, classifications, and observations. Results are automated estimates, may contain errors or omissions, and are not individually verified by a healthcare professional. Results may vary from one scan to another, even for the same product. Factors include the probabilistic nature of AI, system updates, lighting, focus, incomplete text, formulation differences, and the selected portion or settings. Repeating a result does not prove it is correct. Accuracy, completeness, consistency, and suitability for an individual are not guaranteed. 2. Health information and consumption decisions NutriTruth is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease. It does not provide medical consultations, prescriptions, treatment plans, or professional nutrition advice. Its results must not be used to diagnose symptoms, start or stop treatment, or replace a healthcare professional's instructions. No analysis, score, color, alert, classification, or "For you" section is a definitive guide, authorization, clinical recommendation, or prohibition to consume a product. A favorable classification does not guarantee safety; an unfavorable one does not establish that a food causes disease. In particular, NutriTruth does not determine whether a pregnant woman can or cannot consume a product or confirm its safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Observations about pregnancy, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, allergies, or other conditions are general references, not individual clinical assessments. A photograph cannot establish all ingredients, allergens, cross-contamination, or personal health circumstances. Whenever you are unsure, consult your doctor, dietitian, or another qualified healthcare professional before deciding what to consume or changing your diet. The user makes the decision to consume or avoid a product, considering the original label, official warnings, and professional advice. 3. Product classifications, brands, and commercial reputation Scores and expressions such as "approved," "warning," "risky," "dangerous," "avoid," or "deception," where displayed, are informational categories on an automated scale applied to information interpreted from a label. They are not medical, toxicological, or regulatory findings, laboratory tests, official warnings, or determinations that a product is illegal, defective, or harmful in every case, or that its manufacturer acted in bad faith. Product names, trademarks, and images identify what was analyzed; their rights belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or manufacturer endorsement. Do not present results as conclusive facts or use them to fabricate false accusations, defame, or unlawfully harm the reputation of people, brands, or products. If you find inaccurate information or own a product and wish to request a review, contact hola@nutritruth.me and identify the analysis and potential error. 4. Responsible use of information You are responsible for how you use and share information. Check the original packaging, quantities, ingredients, and warnings; do not assume that the absence of an alert means the absence of risk. Do not use NutriTruth for unlawful purposes, to issue diagnoses or prescriptions, or to replace your doctor's instructions. Do not manipulate results or remove their context to present them as medical or official certifications. When sharing them, preserve their nature as AI-generated reference information and their limitations. 5. Privacy and shared content You can keep scans in your Library and choose their visibility. When you publish an analysis in Community, the product, shared images, AI result, and your profile name may be visible to other users. You can change visibility in the app; copies shared by others outside the service may remain beyond our control. The Privacy Policy explains the handling of images, health information, and other personal data, as well as account deletion and retention periods. Refer to that policy for those procedures and limitations. 6. Limits of liability and non-waivable rights To the extent permitted by applicable law, NutriTruth, its operator, and its developers are not liable for harm caused solely by a user's unlawful use or misuse of information, manipulation of results, or presentation of them as medical or official instructions. The service is not warranted as suitable for clinical decisions or determining an individual's food safety. 7. Terms version and contact This screen states the text's version date. Any change and its application are subject to the notice and acceptance requirements of applicable law; publishing a change does not replace express acceptance where required or remove acquired rights.
